Karipap

pada suatu hari dulu, abang buat karipap. kali pertama abang buat karipap. alhamdulillah jadi. kerika kecil dulu, abang masih ingat abang kacau umi buat karipap. tapi umi sabar. umi ajar abang macam mana mahu kelim. entah bagaimana, ketika abang buat karipap tempoh hari, abang cuba, jadi. bakat semulajadi agaknya.








sebenarnya abang baru pulang dari perhimpunan musim sejuk 2008 di loch lomond. dr maza, ismail patel, dr t and ustaz maszlee were among the speakers. variety of subjects were talked, but all were pointed to a one small objective. that is, to be a super muslim student you not only need to excel in the field you're currently studying, but have a good grasp in arts subjects such as economics, histories, politics, social science, etc. in doing da'wah, although you can move from top to bottom, but the effective and stronger base is by going from bottom to top. we also cannot always blame the west in how they acts towards us, but instead we first need to make an effort to understand their histories that shaped their thinking towards islam. then can we explain the beauty of islam.

winter retreat 2008, was superb. participants came from as far as czech republic and poland and obviously those who came from ireland and uk. i also met two al-aminians. first was Muslim, whom i never quite knew him before since he was in sriakl and then moved to maahad. however, i somehow knew i've met and seen him. probably, during programmes that involved sriakl and sriag. qiam ramadhan masjid shah alam perhaps? secondly i met Azman, my junior. Muslim is now in manchester, and Azman in leeds.

second semester ended last week. alhamdulillah, i managed to finish all my reports and assignments. it was hectic, but some people were enjoying themselves in langkawi, eating 'exotic' foods. hehe.

my exams are going to start on the second week of january, so wish me luck!
